How do i write my first poem?

I am so grateful for you, lady of the night. I wrote my first poem, one of the most cathartic experiences ever. This poem was about a topic that has provoked and propelled some of the most profound healing I have received and will continue to look into. PS- I know nothing about the etiquette of writing poetry, so excuse the elementary-grade writing style. Still, it was just a way to feel and express myself.

'Lady of the Night

My sweet lady of the night, locked away in your cave so tight, finding comfort in being buried by the burdens of life.

I see you tremble, roar, scratch, and fight at all who knock on the cave door.

You desperately cling to what you feel you deserve, a grief so deep you sit and steep, but I pray daily for your relief.

You push, pull, scratch, claw at the ones that matter, the ones that came they saw.

You burn, loot, and laugh as the bridges crumble and fall; that rage is sacred if you just let your truth be heard.

I knock, I cry, I beg and weep, I'll never turn away, and I'll pray lifetimes for you to take the leap.

I wait, sing, dance, and pray that you open the cave doors and come out to frolic in the light of day.

I see you, I hear you, crawling towards the door, and I hear you mumble words from off the floor.

No need to fret or be polite; let your pain be told; I'll wait patiently for your unfold.

Tame the fire and unlock the chains; you are only a prisoner in your own game.

I'll bang my drum night and day; your rage is sacred; let it be heard, by you, because I am you, knocking on your own door.
