Prayer for Peace

I feel many people, but specifically women, I am connected to, crying out for men in this time of collective chaos and war. Where are you? What happened to you? Where is your fight for yourself, your family, and this world? Where is your heart? I have found myself in the depths of losing hope and faith in this world recently, but it is this undeniable cry from the feminine that fuels me to stand back up. I have watched the power of devotion and prayer create immeasurable magic and healing in my life and the world around me. It's a tricky time of the mind and an important time to be cautious of the way we are fighting for the same peace and safety we all crave. Are we raising awareness of the reality of the war happening, or are we fueling more of that flame of separation? I realize there is a history between these two countries. That anxiety to fight, to pick a side to stand for, might be fueling more of the problem. I ask myself, What can I do to benefit the world right now? What is it in my psyche and behavior that can sometimes create a ripple effect of more fear or separation? Where am I dehumanizing myself or the people around me? Where can I lower my expectations, open my heart further, and create more space for safety and grace to change? Where can I become a little stronger and not turn my back so easily? The one thing that always comes out of me with ease is to pray and spread some joy and kindness where I can. I want to thank the men and women in my life for their fight, their prayers, and their undeniable support in the best way they can right now. To know that all I want is to flood you with the feeling of hope and strength I feel with this prayer, for us to rise and direct our fight with intention and heart. Unfortunately, evolution can be an ugly process when we collectively resist it. Give me strength to be a witness, to not get sucked into madness, and to keep my eyes open to the divinity of the unfolding while keeping that fight in my heart that it doesn't need to be this way anymore. Stand the fuck up. We all bleed the same blood here and feel the same pain.
