how do I connect with animals?

I have recently been connecting more deeply with the spirit of different animals, birds, wolves, black bears, jaguars, and my sweet dog, mamacitarama Lucy. A few years back, I learned that my last name Vuchetich means 'Pack of Wolves.' I began studying, reading, and watching documentaries on wolves. After researching, I had an incredible encounter with a grey wolf. There are dark and light sides to every animal's spirit, but I will only mention the light side, although I am aware I have tendencies to have both qualities. The essence of the wolf represents Sharp intelligence, deep connection with instincts, appetite for freedom, courage and resilience, insight, inner wisdom, community and connection, leadership, determination, and adaptability. In the middle of the wolf's forehead is a Croatian flag emblem, where almost half of my ancestry comes from on my father's side, Vuchteich. When I first reached out to more abstract forms of healing, a healer told me that a mother black bear was always watching over me. The spirit of the black bear represents strength, confidence, protective power, courage, motherly love and care, healing, protection, affinity with solitude, introspection, and a grounded presence. On the black bear's forehead, the symbol for the cardinal direction is North, considering I want this tattooed on my front side, also representing the earth. During my Dieta's, the Maestro said he had to call upon the spirit of the jaguar to clear out the air spirits in my lower stomach. The jaguar spirit animal is the gatekeeper to all that is unknown. The jaguar offers lessons about reclaiming your inner power by awakening your spirit. When the secretive, graceful jaguar enters your life, it is time to resolve old issues and make way for a spiritual rebirth. Understanding the darker side of life offers this powerful animal totem its mystery. With understanding comes the ability to embrace change and life's many cycles. The beginning of my healing journey was about reconnecting with my inner feminine and healing those wounds. I began to swing too far to that side, which felt incredibly uncomfortable, so I began to work with more masculine plants, bringing healthy men back into my life and participating in more masculine competitive sports.
The top of the totem is a bull, symbolizing masculinity, power, fertility, and virility in many cultures. Within the bull is the symbol for the Ram, or astrological sign for Aries, known for commanding one's own life. Also found within the bull is the alchemical symbol for sulfur, one of the oldest occult symbols for masculinity and expansion. At the top of the bull is the trident symbolizing earthly and supernatural power. I made the middle part of the trident into a phallic, one of the most potent symbols of masculinity, representing shiva, the lingam, expressing radiance, creativity, nurturing energy, and substance. All of my art has turned into prayer over the years. I prayed to connect more deeply with my animal totem, to inherit their qualities, and embrace healthy masculinity.
